Membership
The
cultural activities of the Alliance Française are in full
swing. Since its reopening in January 2004 the Alliance has hosted
a number of cultural and artistic activities:
Celebration of the world francophonie day.
Lectures by French scholars.
Art exhibitions.
The francophonie and European film festivals.
Bhartanatyam dance performance.
Classical piano concert.
Rock concert.
A host of other activities are planned
for the near future, namely:
Cheese day.
Classical/folk musical concerts.
Concours de chansons (Singing competition).
Fete de la musique.
Lectures by French scholars.
To keep receiving invitations to the forthcoming events organized
by the Alliance renew your annual membership today:
Rs 1000/- for students
Rs 1500/- for teachers of French
Rs 3000/- for Pakistani nationals
Rs 5000/- for Foreigners
Rs 10000/- for benefactors / schools
Apart from the cultural activities members can avail the facilities
of the mediatheque (newspapers, magazines, books, DVDs and direct
satellite transmission of French TV channels) and watch French
movies in the cine club (every other Wednesday).
