External Classes
French language classes are held on regular basis for all
interested children (14 years and older),
teenagers and adults. The centre provides
air-conditioned classrooms and a library where students can
learn in a very healthy and secure environment.
Information about the regular French classes:
Classes are held thrice a week on alternate days i.e.:
Monday, Wednesday and Friday
Tuesday Thursday and Saturday
Duration of each class is two hours. All the regular classes are
held in the evening, from
6pm to 8:15pm.
Classes in June, July and August session will be
of three hours in the evening from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm.
Beginners are admitted in NA1
(level 1 of the beginner’s course: 36 hours or equivalent)
The complete beginner’s course consists of five levels, a total
of 10 months.
Further advance courses are offered to students who successfully
finish the beginner's level.
PRIVATE TUITIONS
Private tuitions are available for all levels.
Rs. 700/- hour at the Centre and Rs.
800/-
hour at your residence.
Other than the regular courses, we offer French reading classes
, conversation
classes
and French culture and civilization classes. Students wishing to improve and practice their
spoken French and to know more about the French Civilization and
culture should avail this opportunity.
Only for students with an intermediate level of French, i.e.
Normally NA1.3 and above.

FRENCH
FOR CHILDREN
During summer, The Alliance Française organizes French classes
for kids. Learning process will be conducted through games and
recreational activities especially designed for kids from 6 to
10 years old. We had five successful sessions last year and are
back this year with French for Kids Classes in a more innovative
and improved manner.
Activities include the following :
Introduction to French
Painting & drawing
Various singing and playing activities and a little snack
Recreational & self-developing activities

Intensive French classes
v
Intensive session from January to June for students of the HEC
scholarship program and for anyone wishing to learn French at a
faster pace than that of the regular classes.
v
Course covers 300 + hours of French teaching.
v
Classes for 3 hours a day, 5 days a week, morning or evening.
v
Fee: 30 000 rupees, study material included.
For registration, an applicant has to come in and drop at the
reception their admission form and give 2 passport size pictures as
well with the appropriate fees. The admission form will be not
accepted if any if the above items are missing. Once registered, the
student will be issued a STUDENT CARD. This gives student the
right to have access to all the services offered by Alliance
Française for that session only. A STUDENT CARD gives the following
services/activities:

(French journals, magazines and access to reference books as well)
v Internet
Café (located in the Library)
v
TV Room (French news, programs during the day)
v
Vidéothèque (French DVD and VHS)
v Cafeteria
v Ciné-club
(once a week)
v
Campus France Student Advisor counseling
v
All cultural activities
Student are required supposed to present keep their Student Card on
him / her at all times to avail these services and also when they
are taking admission in the next level.

NO REFUND will be given. Alliance Française will only
refund students if a class is cancelled.
No TRANSFER of CLASS or SESSION will be permitted during the
session whatever the reason.
EXTERNAL
CLASSES: Classes "à la carte"
Alliance Française can also organize courses as per your needs,
whatever your level or the number of students:
- Courses in your Company
- Courses in your College
- at your office premises
- in a school or in a college
- in our premises
Fees
Depending on the venue, number of students, duration of course,
type of course, a fee is calculated accordingly.
